Looking for a lake in NC for kiting

Hey, not all of us can be at the beach full time. Theres some windsurfers at Lake Norman, Lake Jordan, Falls Lake. Who is kiteboarding on these lakes? Can you provide some information on which, the wind direction and the launch spots, etc?

Lake kiting in nc? Sorry dude it's no good. Everyone who tries it will tell ya you better off driving to the coast. It's just too gusty in the middle of the state.

I drag my fat ass from raleigh to obx as much as I can and it's always worth it.
